About Us: Esquire Business Brokers is owned and operated by Accredited Business Intermediary and Attorney Douglas L. Whalen. He graduated from the Villanova University School of law and started his own law practice shortly thereafter. Mr. Whalen assisted in the sale and purchase of many business transactions. Mr. Whalen prepared many documents for the sale of businesses and helped close the transactions. Mr. Whalen decided to pursue a career in business brokerage because he enjoyed assisting in the transactions of buying and selling businesses more than any other area of law.

Mr. Whalen was directly educated in business brokerage by Mr. William Bruce, a business broker with over 20 years experience and President of the American Business Brokers Association. Mr. Whalen is a graduate of the American Business Brokers Association's Advanced Business Broker Educational Curriculum and is an Accredited Business Intermediary. Mr. Whalen also has his real estate license and can handle the sale of a business with real estate attached.

Esquire Business Brokers will broker business transactions anywhere in the United States, but geographically we are concentrating on Philadelphia, Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery County, Berks County, Bucks County, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
